Cranial Sacral

Cranial Sacral works with the cerebral spinal fluid and the central nervous system to improve the horses motility and internal function.

Cranial Sacral is a non-invasive modality that is soft in nature and allows the horses body to return to their natural and optimum selves.

This modality works with organ function, blood flow, nerve impingements and diaphragm spasms.

I have training in CST 1, 2, and 3 from Integrated Equine Therapies. I am also in the Equine Sports Massage Program: Equissage learning new techniques to add to my program.

Red light therapy is an advanced technology used in humans and animals alike to stimulate blood flow at a cellular level.

It can help:

  • Reduce pain and swelling

  • Increase lymphatic activity

  • Strengthen the immune system

  • Accelerate cell regeneration

  • Increase circulation

  • Relaxe muscles

  • Increase anti-viral properties

  • Encourage collagen production

  • Regulate serotonin levels

Red Light also known as Photonic Therapy is a safe, natural, non-invasive way to promote healing and control pain.  This therapy has been proven to help animals as well as people.

There are certain acupressure points on the horse that are used for relaxation and to help gauge where the horse is at emotionally.

Many times acupressure is used to get to know the horse and his body-type.

This is also a good indicator for any internal issues going on with the horse.

I also love to use essential oils for an aromatherapy mini-session before I start my work. I tend to use the Red Light on acupressure points to get best results.

I have noticed great results in adding a poultice clay to areas of inflammation at the end of my sessions. I offer epsom salt clay options as well.
